WATCH: Cops Release Video of Democrat Claiming He Was Stopped for ‘Driving While Black’

Police in Minnesota released bodycam video of the traffic stop involving state Rep. John Thompson (D), raising questions pertaining to his claim he was stopped for “driving while black.”

The St. Paul Police Department released the video Tuesday showing the moment an officer approached Thompson’s vehicle on July 4, according to Fox News.

“Why in such a hurry?” the policeman asked Thompson, who replied, “I don’t think I took off like a bat out of hell. I just drove off.”

Once the officer asked him for proof of insurance, Thompson said it was on his phone and added he is a state representative.

“With a Wisconsin license?” the officer questioned.

“Yeah, with a Wisconsin license,” Thompson stated.

“You’re suspended in Minnesota,” the policeman told Thompson a few minutes later, to which he replied, “No.”

Thompson’s license was reportedly suspended in 2019 when he failed to pay child support in Ramsey County, according to the Fox article.

So Thompson had a Minnesota license.  It was suspended.  So he went to Wisconsin posing as a Wisconsin resident to get a Wisconsin license.

In Virginia, that would get you jail time, a fine, and losing your license for ten years.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

OK, according to the article below, Thompson has never had a Minnesota license.  He has been voting in Minnesota elections since 2004.

Those dim congressmen are just so damn smart but not nearly as smart as alert police officers.

Did they perp walk the SOB?

Minnesota Police and Peace Officers Association asked the Wisconsin attorney general to investigate
Thompson for repeatedly acquiring a Wisconsin license while he lived in Minnesota, claiming he

Suspended in Minnesota. Imaging that.

That article failed to address this, FTA:

Sounds like he did indeed have a MN license at one point, but it is suspended.  It had to have came up on the Police computer during the stop.  The article linked is silent on that, as least as far as I could tell from a first-read.  It's notable they quoted the scofflaw extensively, so there's a bit of bias.
