Minneapolis Chief Of Police Puts His Foot Down After Innocent 3-Year-Old Child Is Shot
Stevie B. Stevie B. July 13, 2021

The Minneapolis police chief finally came out and said the quiet part of the truth that no one has spoken up against yet. He asserted over the weekend that the “police are not the biggest threat to the safety of the city” after a three-year-old was placed in critical condition after being shot Friday.

“The biggest threat to public safety in our city, and particularly to our African-American community, is not the police,” Chief Medaria Arradondo said. “We have an epidemic right now of unequivocal gun violence, particularly in our African-American communities. And that must stop.”

After murders, arsons, rapes, rioting, looting and half the city being burned to the ground, the chief has had enough?  What I don't understand is why this wasn't said in time for saving people from the ravages of black violence?

Correct me if I’m wrong, but aren’t police chiefs appointed by mayors and/or city councils?

I have little interest in streamlining government or in making it more efficient, for I mean to reduce its size. I do not undertake to promote welfare, for I propose to extend freedom. My aim is not to pass laws, but to repeal them.
