WASHINGTON —
The Supreme Court on Thursday rejected a voting-rights challenge to Arizona’s election laws, ruling the state may discard legal ballots that are cast in the wrong precinct even if doing so results in throwing out a much higher percentage of votes cast by Latinos, Blacks and Native Americans than whites.

The court also upheld a second provision that makes it a crime for anyone other than family members or postal workers to deliver a mail ballot, a rule that has a significant impact on tribal reservations.

By a 6-3 vote, the justices held the state’s election laws do not violate the Voting Rights Act and its ban on rules that have a discriminatory impact based on race or ethnicity.

Writing for the conservative majority, Justice Samuel A. Alito Jr. said voting in Arizona is “equally open” to all eligible voters, and that “mere inconvenience cannot be enough to demonstrate a violation” of the Voting Rights Act.

The court’s three liberal justices dissented.

Justice Elena Kagan wrote: “What is tragic here is that the court has (yet again) rewritten—in order to weaken—a statute that stands as a monument to America’s greatness, and protects against its basest impulses.”

The justices held 6-3 along ideological lines that two state policies prohibiting out-of-precinct voting and ballot harvesting were not “enacted with a racially discriminatory purpose.”

In another 6-3 opinion along ideological lines, the justices struck down a California requirement that charities disclose the names of their major donors to the state attorney general’s office.

John "coin flip" Roberts voted with the constructionists.  Look for him to side with the DOJ against the states Georgia or Florida --- odds of 3 consecutive "heads" are only 12.5%.

Good deal.  Allowing votes to be cast out-of-Precinct would have made the current mess into an incurable nightmare.

In spite of the fact Kagan stopped just short here of calling he and members of the majority Grand Wizards in the KKK.

Considering the left’s newly discovered Brownshirt tactics of toxxing, harassing etc the charity disclosure ruling is very good news as well.

Some good news for once.

If it wasn't for Trump this wouldn't be possible.

In a year of news that sucks......  This is the best news of 2020-21.

Folks, there now is SCOTUS precedence on this issue.  The socialist can now stick it up their ass.

I am not totally familar with each individual case, but with this ruling, and like commonality with the AZ ruling, I am hoping our odds a bit better than that.   Finally some sanity maybe, considering siding with the dims basically opens up a flood gate and perpetuity of fraudlent stolen elections like 2020.

I haven't watched the news yet, but I'm sure that they are going to spin this in a different light to convince the LIV that this means absolutely nothing.

All I can say is this is a glimmer of hope in all the darkness surrounding us.  Please, keep praying!

The Democrat Party challenge was based on the premise that minorities are too stupid to know how to find the polling precinct   address printed on their voter registration card and posted online.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

-Dwight Eisenhower-

"The [U.S.] Constitution is a limitation on the government, not on private individuals ... it does not prescribe the conduct of private individuals, only the conduct of the government ... it is not a charter for government power, but a charter of the citizen's protection against the government."

SCOTUS upholds Arizona voting integrity laws

https://hotair.com/jazz-shaw/2021/07/01/scotus-upholds-arizona-voting-integrity-laws-n399978

Quote
Arizona Democrats had sought to throw out two voting integrity laws passed in that state in 2016. Those laws have been used as a model for new laws passed in other states since the 2020 elections, so the precedent of this case could prove important. One of the laws states that only the voter, a member of their family, or their caregiver can deliver a completed ballot. The other law requires election officials to reject ballots cast in the wrong precinct. Today, the Supreme Court announced that they found the laws to be constitutional on a 6-3 vote. Be sure to note the spin that NBC News applies to their coverage of this story.

My emphasis.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Not a court watcher, but why would someone want to challenge anonymous charity donations?  Money laundering would be the only issue to come to mind, but......

The CEO of Mozilla was fired by his own Board of Directors because it was possible to see his donation to the anti-gay marriage Prop several years ago.  Now that doxxing will have to stop.  CA clearly got burned by this decision.

The stories I've seen are of the "women and minorities hit hardest" template.
