The companies have had practice. They've been doing this crap for years by forced Sexual Harassment classes that drive a wedge between men and women, thus creating a "hostile work environment." After the last class I was forced to take, they told me I'm creating a hostile work environment by cutting down all interactions with women.
It's a deliberate catch-22. If I hit on the chicks, I'm harassing and if I don't, I'm creating a hostile environment. I chose "hostile work environment" because that's harder to prove than overt sexual harassment.
Which is odd because the people I worked the closest with were almost all female. I guess I successfully split the baby.
I got laid off because I was obsolete, which was my master plan the last two years I was there. I was playing for the severance package, which paid off my old house in the 'burbs. Put that together with the money I saved over 35 years and I upgraded to the castle, where I can burn golf balls all day long.
