Authorities today apprehended the main suspect who is alleged to have shot fourteen people and killed one man in the entertainment district of downtown Austin, Texas, back on June 12th.According to KXXV, a 19-year-old named De’Ondre Jermirris White is currently in Killeen City Jail. He tried to evade arrest by cutting his hair and dying it.However investigators compiled enough evidence from witness statements, security camera footage, and ballistic evidence to narrow it down to solely De’Ondre White. Earlier on Thursday the US Marshals, alongside the Lone Star Fugitive Task Force and the SWAT team of Killeen, Texas, were able to apprehend him. ...

The success of U.S. Marshals task force initiatives, combined with the outstanding relationships forged with other law enforcement agencies, has led to the formation of permanent fugitive task forces, as well as ad-hoc task forces in response to unique cases that pose immediate threat to the public.
