Russia Threatens Britain It Will Bomb Ships Next Time

(Reuters) – Russia warned Britain on Thursday that it would bomb British naval vessels in the Black Sea if there were any further provocative actions by the British navy off the coast of Russia-annexed Crimea.

Russia summoned the British ambassador in Moscow for a formal diplomatic scolding after the warship breached what the Kremlin says are its territorial waters but which Britain and most of the world say belong to Ukraine.

Britain said Russia was giving an inaccurate account of the incident. No warning shots had been fired and no bombs had been dropped in the path of the Royal Navy destroyer Defender, it said.

   Would Russia be willing to start a war over this? Perhaps Putin figures Biden would not dare intercede. Still,  that is a big step toward war.

Britain and Russia have previously warred over Crimea.  History does repeat itself.

Britannia had better be careful. They don't rule the waves no mo'.

Russia ain't the Falklands and I'll bet the UK Navy pales in comparison to what it had been even back then...

No surprise.  With a gravely weakened USA, the bad players will flex their muscles.  Biden is perhaps the weakest POTUS in our modern history.  If I were China or Russia, I would flex my muscles, for certain!
