DOJ Launches ‘Firearms Trafficking Strike Forces’ in Democrat-Controlled Cities

President Joe Biden’s Department of Justice (DOJ) announced Tuesday that it will launch “firearms trafficking strike forces” in the Democrat-controlled cities of Chicago, D.C., L.A., New York, and San Francisco.

The Washington Examiner noted the DOJ said the strike forces will launch “within 30 days.”

In a DOJ statement, Attorney General Merrick Garland said:

Working with our local partners to tackle violent crime is one of the Justice Department’s most important responsibilities. Today, the department is taking another concrete step to address violent crime and illegal firearms trafficking. Our firearms trafficking strike forces will investigate and disrupt the networks that channel crime guns into our communities with tragic consequences. This effort reflects our shared commitment to keep communities safe.

The five Democrat-controlled cities in which strike forces will launch are also five with some of the most stringent gun control in the U.S. Collectively, they have all the gun control the Democrats are pushing at the federal level, which they present as a way to keep Americans safe.

Joe has made it clear, it is the majority of people in America that the democrats see as the enemy.  Except just before an election when it's time to make of fool of them by pretending to be their friends and getting their votes.  Would these tyrants steal an election to get in power and then stay in power ?

On the state and local level, the bleeding heart liberal judges keep letting the gun criminals out on bail while awaiting trial.  People have been shot by criminals who were already awaiting trial for previous crimes.

I say let the city and state governments live with the consequences of their inane policies rather than expending Federal dollars to manage state and local issues.

Nothing is stopping Blue cities and states from being tough on gun crimes.  They want someone else to do the work and pick up the tab.

Oftentimes shooting witnesses who are due to testify against them in their trials. And,of course,the Dims will blame this on not enough gun control instead of THEM letting dangerous thugs out on the street,and ignore the FACT that it is already illegal for a criminal to own or possess a firearm.
