White House insists it has 'highest ethical standards' of any administration amid criticism of family hires

White House press secretary Jen Psaki, responding to reports of alleged nepotism in the Biden White House, said on Monday that the Biden administration has higher ethics standards than any other presidential administration ever.

"Let me say first that we have the highest ethical standards of any administration in history," Psaki said, speaking in Trumpian superlative. "A number of ethics officials have conveyed that and we're proud of that. We've also staffed up at an unprecedented pace and this is the most diverse administration in American history. So we certainly expect that everyone will abide by those high ethics standards. It applies in how we operate it also applies in how hiring is done."

Psaki – whose sister was appointed a senior adviser in the Department of Health and Human Services in March, Fox News reported earlier this month – was not asked a follow-up question on the topic.

Psaki did acknowledge that her sister was hired by the administration in a tweet last week, saying that Stephanie Psaki "is more qualified than I am to be here." .................

White House has the lowest  ethical standards' of any administration and considering how low slick willy and Obama went, and in such a short time, that's a Herculean feat!

Just remember, ethics is not the same as morality.  Ethics is what an ethics board or a professional ethicist (cf. Peter Singer of Princeton) says is right.  Morality is what God says is right.  I'm guessing they have some ethicists or a board telling them "good job" as the basis for this claim.

Heck, maybe supporting Singer's positions on abortion is part of why this administration claims to be so ethical.
