Leftist Lies and Media Deceit About Florida Pride Accident — Even Claiming 'Assassination Attempt' Against Dem

As we reported earlier, there was what appears, at this point, to be a horrible accident at a Florida Pride event with a pickup truck hitting multiple people and killing at least one at the event.

But it turns out that the driver of the pick-up truck was, according to reports, a member of the gay men’s chorus, was wearing one of their t-shirts and had a Pride flag on his truck. The Chorus confirmed that he was one of their members. The man is claiming it was an accident. That was known relatively early on after the incident last night.

But that didn’t stop people on the left and media, who were off to the races spreading lies about what had occurred.

Not only did they claim that it was a terrorist attack aimed at gay people, but they also claimed that it was an assassination attempt against Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz (D-FL), again without any evidence at all.

The leader of the gay men’s chorus set the record straight very quickly, but I expect this MSM lie will be part of the anti-DeSantis narrative until he is no longer a possible R Presidential candidate.

... The elderly driver had ailments that prevented him from walking, according to a statement Sunday from Fort Lauderdale Police, who said he was cooperating with the investigation and there was no evidence drugs or alcohol was involved.

The driver allegedly told police 'that his foot became stuck between the gas pedal and the brake causing him to lose control of the vehicle', CBS 4 reported. 

'The early investigation now indicates it looks like it was a tragic accident, but nobody's saying finally what it is,' Rolli said in a phone interview.   ...
