    He was responding to a plea from assistance from Texas and Arizona governors

Texas Governor Greg Abbott has announced $250 million in state funding for a state-constructed border wall, as his Florida counterpart Ron DeSantis dispatched law enforcement personnel to assist border patrols in Texas and Arizona.

The moves, announced on Wednesday, signal that Republican governors are increasingly taking the surge in illegal border crossings into their own hands, as they accuse the Biden administration of dereliction.

It follows new federal data showing that illegal crossings hit a 20-year high in May, when 180,034 migrants were detained at the southern border, the vast majority of them adults traveling alone.

We are beginning to see a re-formation of the Old Southern states and maybe some new ones.  All due to the federal government either not doing its job or over-reaching.

Illegal aliens are spreading across the country and threatening the economic, societal, and civil stability of every state in the union. States and citizens from all over the nation are sending assets to Texas to protect our borders.

Uhmm... didn't we used to send assets to Washington, DC to protect ourselves? PerhapsDC is obsolete and we need to move our capital to Austin.
