Supply, demand, and free market competition, do your magic.

We are coming out of a recession, and demand is greater than supply.

The Fed can't increase interest rates without bringing down the Ponzi scheme that passes for an economy in America.

The American economy needs to grow GDP (excluing government and healthcare), increase productivity, and increase efficiencies to perservere higher rates.  The largest obstacle to these is Government.
