Two paratroopers were found dead in their barracks room at Fort Bragg, North Carolina, on Friday, and investigators say they believe that drug use was involved.
Spc. Joshua Diamond, 35, of Plymouth, Massachusetts, and Pfc. Matthew Disney, 20, of Aberdeen, Maryland, both served with the 82nd Airborne Division. U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command is investigating the deaths.
"At this point in the investigation, we do have credible information that the Soldiers were involved with illicit drugs," Chris Grey, a spokesman for Army CID, said in a statement Monday.
