He preceded his announcement by sending a letter to Biden urging him to return from an economic summit in London to address the border crisis. In that letter, he said, “This is a crisis of great proportions and it must receive our immediate attention. I am requesting that you end your overseas trip to return home to solve the catastrophe at our border.”

Brnovich has led a national case against Biden’s decision to stop deporting criminal illegal immigrants from cities.
