First-ever 'Men's March to End Abortion' Held in DC as Hundreds Pray for Pro-Life Cause

Lost in the conversation surrounding the pro-life movement is the duty that men have in ending the killing of the unborn. In fact, the left often tells their male counterparts that they cannot speak their minds when it comes to abortion simply because they are not women.

Well, one group is not only rejecting that idea completely, they’re looking to start a new movement specifically for men to get involved in the pro-life cause.

On Saturday, June 12, organizers hosted “The first-ever National Men’s March to defend the least of these and call for the end of the government-sanctioned daily mass murder of abortion.”

The march was put together by Father Stephen Imbarrato and Catholic radio host Jim Havens, however prominent Christian pastors like Rev. Dr. Clenard Childress, and Catholic priests such as Msr. Charles Pope of D.C.  addressed the crowd. Likewise, former Republican Amb. Alan Keyes also spoke to the crowd.

As the group’s website notes, “There is a man connected to every abortion. Men are a big part of the problem, it’s time for all men to take responsibility and be a big part of the solution.”

The group asked that attendees not make signs, and also that the men wear suits because they wanted to ” bring dignity, class, and a sense of professionalism to our presence and will also be a visual sign of unity for the event.”

Perhaps more subdued than most D.C. protests, it seems that most attendees prayed as they walked from the Washington Surgi-Clinic Abortion Center in downtown D.C. toward the White House. As the video shows, an estimated 300 men came out for the event:

Wow.  I watched the video and this is absolutely awesome!!!  I often forget that men also lose a child!
