Joe Biden meets the Queen for afternoon tea: US President and First Lady receive Guard of Honour at Windsor after flying to Heathrow on Air Force One from G7 summit in Cornwall

    The Queen is welcoming US President Joe Biden to Windsor Castle with a Guard of Honour and a sit down tea
    American leader and First Lady Jill Biden will visit Berkshire royal residence on Sunday after the G7 summit
    Couple had earlier met the Queen on Friday when she attended a reception for G7 leaders at the Eden Project 
    Their welcome to Windsor Castle today echoes welcome given to Donald Trump in 2018 when he visited UK

The Queen is today welcoming President Joe Biden to Windsor with a Guard of Honour and tea at the castle.

The American leader and First Lady Jill Biden are visiting the Berkshire royal residence this evening, after attending the G7 summit in Cornwall.

The couple met the Queen on Friday when she attended a reception for G7 leaders at the Eden Project.
