San Francisco Supervisor Aaron Peskin released a statement Thursday saying that he's entering alcohol treatment under the guidance of professionals. “I stand by my long legislative and civic record but must also take full responsibility for the tenor that I have struck in my public relationships — for that, I am truly sorry," Peskin wrote in a statement posted on Twitter. ......Peskin was reportedly intoxicated in 2018 when he ripped into fire officials at the scene of a St. Patrick's Day fire in North Beach.
