The Squad goes to war with Nancy over Ilhan Omar: Rashida Tlaib says 'freedom of speech doesn't exist for Muslim women in Congress' after Pelosi urged Rep. to 'clarify' comments comparing US and Israel to terrorists

    Rep. Rashida Tlaib blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic leadership for a statement they put out Thursday about Rep. Ilhan Omar
    'Freedom of speech doesn't exist for Muslim women in Congress. The benefit of the doubt doesn't exist for Muslim women in Congress,' Tlaib tweeted
    Pelosi and top Democrats said Omar was fomenting 'prejudice' by drawing false equivalence between democracies like Israel and terrorist groups like Hamas
    Beyond support from her fellow 'Squad' member, the Congressional Progressive Caucus also came out in defense of Omar
    'We cannot ignore a right-wing media echo chamber that has deliberately and routinely attacked a Black, Muslim woman in Congres,' a statement said
    Omar accused her critics within the Democratic Party of whipping up 'Islamic hate against her'

Rep. Rashida Tlaib blasted House Speaker Nancy Pelosi and Democratic leadership for a statement they put out Thursday saying Rep. Ilhan Omar was fomenting 'prejudice' by comparing the U.S. and Israel to Hamas and the Taliban.

'Freedom of speech doesn't exist for Muslim women in Congress. The benefit of the doubt doesn't exist for Muslim women in Congress,' Tlaib tweeted. 'House Democratic leadership should be ashamed of its relentless, exclusive tone policing of Congresswomen of color.'

Omar's comments earlier this week that the US and Israel were committing similar 'atrocities' to terrorist groups has sparked a fierce internal battle between members of the progressive wing and senior leaders.

Freedom of speech does not mean that someone else cannot call you out for your lies and falsehoods.

This PoS is trying to equate freedom of speech with so-called "allyship" and submissive acceptance of whatever comes out of her foul little mouth.
