Just asking ... Does PRIDE equal fascism?

They are not saying PRIDE because they are proud of themselves.
They hate themselves. They are saying PRIDE as an In Your Face F**k You
to normal America.


Where is my PRIDE flag? Where is my PRIDE f**k you?

Pride in being white, black or whatever color you were born with makes no sense to me. Something you have no control over.

The whole "pride" thing seems to be taken from the participation trophy mind set. It isn't "fair" that you have to work hard at something to earn respect in accomplishing something.

People are entitled to stuff now, especially if someone else has more...

So here's the fruit of the left's labor in schools all these years in full bloom...

That's right... Pride, the good kind, comes with merit... and recognition of merit by one who matters... Like building something, and a known master welder wanders by and says something off the cuff... "Looks like you're stacking dimes on that..." Or your boy gets on with a hardball carpenter, a master of his craft, and that feller stops you in the middle of a restaurant to shake your hand and tell you what a fine boy you raised, and goes on to tick off a list of why he was glad to have hired him on...

I remember being proud when I won a spelling bee in the third grade. I remember being proud of hitting a home run in the fourth grade (it was a grounder but still a home run... I was proud). I remember being proud of being accepted at a great private high school. I remember being proud of being a member of our state champion debate team. I remember being proud of being a champion wrestler in high school. I remember being proud when I was accepted at West Point. I remember being proud when I graduated Jump School. I remember being proud when I graduated West Point. (I remember being proud when my parents were proud of me graduating West Point.) I remember being proud of Commanding troops in the US. I remember being proud of Commanding troops in Germany. I remember being proud when I earned my MBA. I remember being proud when I was promoted. I remember when I was proud of earning the medals I wore. I remember being proud kissing SUPERWIFE when the pastor said I could at the wedding. I remember being proud the day my son was born. I remember being proud of my son being proud over the years. I remember being proud when we bought our home. I remember being proud of being able to hold back the tears the day my son graduated from Cornell. I remember being proud of my wife as she battled cancer and won. I am proud as I remember all the good stuff in my life. And I am proud that I EARNED every bit of it.

Lloyd Austin is my classmate. He knows the pride of wearing the four stars of a General and being the Secretary of Defense. I'll never know that particular pride. Brian Hague (Al's son) is also a classmate. He's an established (and very good) author of novels. I'll never know that particular pride.

But when I get to meet the Lord, I will stand tall and proudly present myself for His judgement.

How did "fascism" get mentioned in the same sentence as "pride"?

The "pride" movement is a example of the fascist program to stigmatize normal behavior and applaud the diseased as a means of silencing the opposition and moving the window defining the boundaries of acceptable behavior.

"Pride" in sexual deviancy is in, smashing the windows on a car with Trump1 stickers is in.   Using weird pronouns and expecting people to remember them is in, following the laws of nature is out.   

The Germans of 1910 would never dream of rounding up the Jews.  And definitely the thought of exterminating them in a factory would never cross their mind.   Twenty-five years of socialism changed the German pattern of thought.   

The Rodents are doing the same to their betters in America today.

Pride is a sin, one of the seven deadlies, and one of St. John Cassian's catalogue of eight grievous vices, usually regarded as the worst of all of them.  It's odd that those who are deeply committed to some of the more exotic forms of lust (again on both lists) like to announce that they have also fallen into it.

Does it equal fascism?  No, though actual fascists seem to be long on the sin of pride as well.  It's too widespread to actually fit inside fascism.

Our idiotic city council is making a big deal of "Pride (sick) Month" and championing "Diversity."  So I challenged the entire city council with reasoned comments such as presented by men above.  Not femiphobes, but men.  You have to be a really sick man not to love women and what they willingly give us.

I sent these to city council and gee, haven't heard back.

Depends ENTIRELY on what color your skin happens to be.

Pride is a good thing unless you are one of those unfortunate people born with pale skin. In that case,you should live your life in shame,doing whatever you can do to atone for the alleged sins of your fore bearers,while recognizing that those who were born with another skin color are and always have been perfect in EVERY respect.

SHAME on you for being white,SHAME!

BTW,for those of you who may be sarcasm-impaired,there MAY be a tiny trace of sarcasm in the above.

I'm not sure about "pride". But I love the feeling of satisfaction and fulfillment I felt on the occasion of my graduation from college, upon earning my MBA, when my son was born and, later. when he graduated from Cornell and Fordham Law. I felt good when I paid off our house. I felt great when I received promotions and awards in the Army. I was very happy with myself when, as a high school teacher, I helped a young gal overcome a horrific family situation and helped her graduate. I felt extremely satisfied when I got a call from an Army General thanking me for helping him get into West Point when I was his Company Commander in Basic Training. I smiled from ear to ear when I ran into a Staff Sergeant who told me I changed his life when I Commanded that Basic Training Company. He told me he had been a bum with no future but my influence helped him become a Professional Soldier, Husband, and Father. Tears came to my eyes as he thanked me. Now I I am happy as I look back on my life and look forward to spending the rest of it with SUPERWIFE in a happy retirement, exploring, travelling and just having fun.

So i don't know about "pride". But feeling GREAT when you accomplish meaningful things is wonderful.
