Burger King in a tweet last Thursday said it's making a donation to the Human Rights Campaign — a prominent pro-LGBTQ group — for every Ch'King sandwich sold.

Burger King added that the campaign runs through Pride Month and "even on Sundays" — a not-so-subtle rip at Chick-fil-A's long-standing policy of staying closed that day, which reflects the Christian values of Chick-fil-A's founding family.

Maybe BK should worry about increasing their annual revenue by a billion $$, back to where it was in 2009! Meanwhile, CfA approximately tripled its revenue over the same time period. BK should STHU and learn from CfA instead of tossing spitballs.

The BK stores nearest me are so dingy and their employees so customer unfriendly that I don't think I've been in one since GWB was President, and possibly not even in this century. If I want a good burger I'll go to The Habit, Five Guys, In-N-Out, or Wendy's.

I can't remember the last time I ate anything BK. 

Microwaved, pre-cooked burgers, sloppy builds on the sandwiches, crappiest french fries in the industry, etc.

This idiotic nonsense from them only guarantees I'll refrain from ever darkening their doorways.

I ate at Burger King a few months ago for the first time in probably 20 years.  I literally took the food back and demanded my money back.  I told the manager the food, and that is using the word loosely, was absolute garbage!  Ugggh, how anyone can eat fast food today is a mystery to me.

Their selection is a little better than McDonald's, but I'm thinking twice about eating there if this is the attitude they're going to cop. And certainly avoiding the chicken sandwich. (That said, the franchisees and employees are the ones that are likely going to get hurt from this more than anyone.)

Back when I was in high school they had one thing I could eat, it was called the All American and literally was just a patty and bun, no dressing or any other condiments and back when everyone actually put their burgers together at the same time the meat was cooked. The other problem with their crap food is that scary as hell 'Burger King' and their psycho disturbing commercials.

I can't boycott a store I've never patronized. Unfortunately, I can't say I'll up my CFA patronage, either, because dining at quick service restaurants is such an infrequent event.  :shrug:

Having said that, the CFA sandwich is pretty good.

BK could really benefit from Automation in the order taking/counter area.  I haven't frequented one in about 7 years but I believe it was a prerequisite to be hired to be rude, surly, have no communication skills and have a second language that resembled Klingon.  Not specific to BK but if you can't count change back it was considered a fast track to store management..

I sure hope none of the left wing groups does another boycott of CFA.  Last time they did the Drive Through Line got so large it went out to the street, and down  a block.  CFA Chicken Sandwiches are great, but not for an hour wait.

BTW the Chik Fil A guy was on his knees telling people to shine black people's shoes last June.

Of course nearly all fast food is shit. Chik Fil A and Mcdonalds spicy chicken sandwiches are ok, and McDonalds breakfast sandwiches are decent.

In California the staff at fast food joints MUST be Mexican or other illegal alien hispanic types.   If they can speak English understandably, they're not eligible for employment.
