This Thread Brought To You By The Letters C & W:

In Case You Missed It Dept.:

President Biden last week cut off all incoming flights from South Asia due to the deadly new strain of Covid that's been infecting the sub-continent recently. The order was too late. It wasn't in circulation one week before Elizabeth Warren claimed she'd tested positive for the Indian Variant.

The Chamber of Commerce endorsed efforts by Senate Republicans to end federal Covid relief payments to nudge idle recipients to go back to work. Texas cut off federal unemployment benefit payments Wednesday, and it's having the intended effect. Californians are moving back to California.

President Biden announced a cease-fire and said it's time for Israelis and Palestinians to stop fighting and settle things peacefully. They've fought each other for four thousand years, but Joe laid down the law and said enough is enough. Next he's going to settle this Roadrunner-Coyote Thing.

White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki began taking heat from reporters about the Open Border with so many illegals testing positive for corona virus. Yesterday in Los Angeles, 65 illegal aliens tested positive for Covid-19. Officials moved quickly to keep it from spreading to the next SUV.

The New York Attorney General disclosed Tuesday he's investigating the Trump Organization along with the Manhattan DA for criminal wrongdoing in business deals. They claim that Trump inflated his worth. Prosecutors will try to prove he was only capable of Making America Good Again.

President Biden spoke at the Coast Guard graduation and badly fluffed an old joke about the Coast Guard being a unit around which the Navy could organize. Joe then bawled out the cadets for not laughing, then he asked for applause. I'm starting to think he actually finished third last year.

The Centers for Disease Control repeated last week that it"s safe for vaccinated Americans to take off their masks inside or outside. So Friday, after one hundred and twenty days in the White House, President Biden finally took off his mask. And sure enough, just like I thought, it was Obama.

The Chamber of Commerce backed the GOP senators who are trying to end the federal Covid jobless payments because of the severe labor shortage. The shortage is desperate here in Los Angeles. In Garden Grove the marquee at a strip bar called The Perfect Ten reads We Are Now Hiring Eights.

Israeli military reprisals in the West Bank for Hamas rockets fired into Israel from Gaza led to Hamas agreeing to cease fire. Watching the news, I noticed that every time Hamas fired a rocket, one of their own buildings would get blown up. They have got to stop buying their rockets from Acme.

The State Department warned U.S. citizens not to travel to Japan due to heavy Covid infections. The International Olympic Committee reported they may stage Summer Games in Japan without any spectators. They already reached out to the Academy Awards to see how they did it.

Critical Race Theory was banned by twenty states by Tuesday for being a BLM history version that teaches kids the United States is irredeemably racist. Public opposition to BLM curriculum is spreading fast. Every time LeBron James opens his mouth, Tim Tebow sells another million jerseys.

The Wall Street Journal ran an investigative article showing Covid likely came from a Chinese virus lab in Wuhan, not from a bat in a wet market. It's the worst news the media got all year. No captured Al-Qaeda ever resisted giving up information under torture like CNN resisted saying Trump was right.

Governor Newsom announced that California kids will return to in-school learning this fall. But the literature they'll be allowed to read is heavily censored. The first book banned in California's grade school libraries is Dr. Seuss's newest book, There is Disorder at the Border by Executive Order.

Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot blamed racist white reporters for the city's image problem. How hilarious. Your city has an image problem when drivers in Albuquerque see a Walgreen's marquee that reads Get Shot Here, and they double-check their GPS just to make SURE they're not in Chicago.

China issued a statement Thursday closing out all possibilities of the international community investigating to see if the virus originated in its virology lab in Wuhan, insisting it was infected bat-to-human contact. And the Chinese never lie. These facts have been checked by Chinese Checkers.

China declared it won't cooperate with the World Health Organization or any countries trying to trace the origin of the virus to China's virology institute. The entire world is angry at them. The dog just voted least likely to win the next Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is the Chinese Lab.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
