Bluff Called: Ron DeSantis Wins Big Over Cruise Line's 'Vaccine Passports'

Quote
Gov. Ron DeSantis of Florida keeps stacking wins. He did so again after news broke yesterday evening that Royal Caribbean, one of the top two, major cruise lines that operate out of Florida, will not require so-called “vaccine passports” for passengers. This comes after DeSantis used the state’s power over the ports to ban the practice.

I'm guessing Royal Caribbean figured out three basic problems with requiring “vaccine passports”:

1. The medical record card one receives when receiving the vaccine is not suitable as ID; if I had the right SW and my inkjet printer could handle card stock I could crank out counterfeits until all my black ink was consumed.

2. Few, if any, states have created such a “vaccine passport”;

3. Courtesy of HIPAA, Royal Caribbean could not easily access states' vaccinations data bases, if at all. For every trip they would have to do so for as many passengers as booked, and from as many states as are represented among them. Grossly unrealistic!

IOW, Royal Caribbean bluffed a fight they could not win.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

The more I see of DeSantis the more I like him.  And I don't mean as a running mate.

Although I'm a dyed-in-the-wool Cruz man, DeSantis' executive experience is a differentiator.  DeSantis/Cruz in 2024.

I could probably do that...  :beer: :seeya:
