Be gone, Paul Ryan, be gone!
By David Zukerman

Paul Ryan, the last Republican Speaker of the House of Representatives, gave a talk at the Reagan Library in violation of Ronald W. Reagan's Eleventh Commandment:  "Thou shalt not speak ill of a fellow Republican."  Indeed, it was, as they say in basketball, a flagrant foul that Ryan committed.

At the beginning of his talk, Ryan said the following:

Quote
Even for our good showing in the House 2020 left Republicans powerless in Washington. Even worse, it was horrifying to… to see a presidency come to such a dishonorable and disgraceful end....

He went on to say that the conservative cause will be stymied if it "depends on the populist appeal of one personality or of second-rate imitations."  Apparently to make sure that his audience will not mistake the target of his sarcasm, Ryan then remarked that voters "will not be impressed by the sight of yes-men and flatterers flocking to Mar-a-Lago."

Yet the man could never muster an unkind word about Harry Reed. Whatta putz.

How else could he lure the right lobbyists to him?  He saw how wealthy and the high esteem Harry Reed achieved.  Figured it was how things were done.

With Pres. Trump gone, he wants his seat back.

Then he ain't very bright. The republican base has changed & he apparently hasn't noticed.

Thinking that they are trying to find a more polite and genteel version of President Trump, in time for the 2024 campaign.  They cannot afford to 'lose' 35 million hardcore "Trumpers". (50% of 2020 voters)

Someone who can successfully redefine "MAGA".  It was never meant to construe achieving Greatness on the backs of minorities and weaker countries.
Rather it was to destroy the bullshit claim/promise to "...fundamentally change the United States of America!" spouted by Barack Hussein Obama.

I don't 'see' anybody' with the charisma and resume to pick up the Trump baton.

Since I was once a Fred Thompson fan, I'll just throw Rick DeSantis' name out there.

The Republican base is sick to death of careerists whose goal is not to defend and protect the Constitution and the rights of American citizens, but to enrich themselves and their families through lobbying and influence-peddling.

Doing the former takes honor, guts and a willingness to risk one's career in defense of America's foundational principles.

Too many GOP elitists routinely choose the latter course, because they lack the necessary virtues to stand against the tide of tyranny.

However I think you give the Paul Ryans out there too much credit - they're still p*ssed about being rejected. And they don't want MAGA, they are just fine with the remains of this country being picked clean by buzzards, as long as there's still something left for them.

@skeeter

Ohhh,he has noticed, alright. And it scares the panties off of him. He fully understands that if actual conservatives take control over the government,he will have no power and no influence at all, which will obviously lead to him being out of office the following election.

That is the ONLY thing that scares the career politicians.

@DCPatriot

I don't  know that much about him,but I DO know I like what I have seen and heard. The way it is shaping up now,I think he would be an excellent VP running mate for Trump.

NOBODY can replace Trump at the top because the alleged GOP has played "bait and switch" with Republican voters for too long. That Bush won't flush anymore. Nobody but the genuine article has the ability fire up the voters and gain their trust.

AND.......,nobody BUT Trump has shown they can stand up to the left and their medial lackeys, and spit in their eyes while enjoying doing it.

So Ryan kicks Trump in the shins; yet rather than ignoring Xero Ryan,
Trump's Apostles move into rampage mode.
And then they wonder why Plain People have nothing but contempt for ALL politicians.
That Ryan has been hanging round DC since puberty says everything about this jackass.
As for Trump, he's going absolutely nowhere as he ages and widens rapidly.
Character is destiny, a trait non-existent among our "so called" leaders.
When it's discovered, if ever, we'll rid ourselves of the likes of Ryan, Trump and the rest
of the hustler posse.

The only thing that has changed among the Republican votes, the party itself, is that we no longer have the patience to tolerate the elitist rantings of panty-waist collaborationist traitors like Ryan and Romney.

Ryan wants to pretend that if he's insulting enough to the >75 MAGA that voted for the American candidate then THEY will feel the shame he's incapable of and start voting for hideous creatures like him again.

Hopefully that won't happen.

I don't believe it will.

Then again, the Mormons of Utah actually took orders and installed Romney into the Senate.    Gotta wonder what they are going to do in 2024 primaries.

It will be interesting to see what Mitch McConnell does for Romney, too.

No.   Ryan don't have the stature to kick Trump in the big toe, let alone his shins.

Ryan is just an example of all that's wrong with dumb-ass moron traitors who don't like what Trump stands for, which is American greatness.

Rodents are socialists, RINOs are corrupt corporate elitists, both seek the enslave the poor, and to make as many poor as they can, and neither understands greatness or what makes America great.

People who defend trash like Ryan lack that understanding, too.

A reflection on the Romneys.
Some 60 years past, a Principled Conservative/War Hero contested Baines Johnson for POTUS.
Romney's old Man George, then Gov of Michigan, along w/ Scranton of Pa, Cahill of NJ
and Rockefeller of NY, Republicans all, disgracefully turned their contempt of Barry Goldwater
against him, by running a multi-million dollar TV Add campaign against his candidacy, thereby
ensuring his heavy defeat in the 1964 election.
Question??? Since Romney is cut from the same douche-bag material as Ole Man George,
what the hell is he doing in the GOP holding a position of authority/responsibility;
or is the home truth real plain and simple, that the GOP in nothing more than a
Club of unprincipled frauds, hustlers and liars!!!

Quote
Donald J. Trump
9:23am May 28, 2021

RINO Paul Ryan, who became a lame duck Speaker of the House, lost all vote-getting capability with the people he represented in Wisconsin, and was the single biggest factor, other than Romney himself, for the monumental Romney/Ryan loss in the Presidential race of 2012 (I got more votes by far, 75M, than any sitting president in history!), and he is now speaking to other Republicans telling them how to win elections. Interestingly, I was in the Great State of Wisconsin when they booed him off the podium—I literally had to come to his rescue.

Ryan should instead be telling them how to stop the cheating of elections and that we would have won if Republican leadership fought the way the Democrats did.

It was the day that Ryan went on the board of Fox (Fox will never be the same!) that Fox totally lost its way and became a much different place, with millions of its greatest supporters fleeing for good. Paul Ryan has been a curse to the Republican Party. He has no clue as to what needs to be done for our Country, was a weak and ineffective leader, and spends all of his time fighting Republicans as opposed to Democrats who are destroying our Country.

As a Republican, having Paul Ryan on your side almost guarantees a loss, for you, the Party, and America itself!
