Cubans frustrated by oppression and lack of food take to the streets, confront police

Quote
The levels of frustration among the Cuban people are beginning to reach their levels of hunger and misery. In the heart of Havana, regular Cubans took to the streets to show their opposition to the communist Castro dictatorship.

Via Periodico Cubano (my translation):
Quote
‘Down with Diaz-Canel!’: Cubans take to the streets and confront police

In the neighborhood of Jesus Maria in the heart of Havana, Cubans tired of the dire economic and social situation on the island took to the streets with yells of “Down with Diaz-Canel” and “Homeland and Life.”

It happened close to 11 PM, according to a video posted on YouTube by Alain Paparazzi Cubano. Residents can be heard yelling from their balconies, denouncing the lack of food and the creation of MLC stores (stores that only accept foreign currency) fully stocked with merchandise and inaccessible for most people.

Cries of “There’s no oil, there’s no food, down with the MLC stores, down with hunger,” can be heard several times. ...

Maybe the people have realized 60+ years is a little long for a revolution, when everything and everyone against which they're supposedly revolting have long since ceased to exist.

  • That is the problem with everything. They try and make it better without realizing the old is fine.

Socialism working at its finest.  Make America Cuba, or Venezuela or any other shithole country.

I read a story a few years ago claiming that many (brainwashed) Cubans still blame the U.S. embargo for their problems. The fact is Cuba was/is free to trade with every other country in the world. How dense to you have to be to understand that the problem was/is Marxist economics which guarantees poverty for every country that tries it?

The same is coming here because of the leftists/globalist/Marxist agenda of the Dementia Joe administration. I bet money that they will try to brainwash people and blame it all on Trump's economy.

Maybe Cuba will become a free country around the same time the US finally becomes socialist.

We'll be fleeing to Cuba? I wonder if they'll be as welcoming to us invading their country as we have been to them?

As our pipelines close, our new oil drilling ends and regulation of food production increases, prepare for similar scenes in America. Heard from a trucker lately about what increasing fuel prices are doing to his/her cost? Bought beef or chicken lately? It's just a matter of time before our own population hits the streets. The looting and rioting of last summer was just a warmup.
