How much of this viewership is airports and gyms like 24 Hour Fitness? That joke has become an actual question. Until yesterday AM, the only non-sports channel I recognized at my 24 Hour location was BMM. Yesterday AM they also had the local SeeBS station on one of the TVs.
They were already in the basement, then they drop 71% more?Conservative success.Next target, MSNBC.And nobody should click on any NYT or WaPoo links, either.
It's unwatchable. TMZ has more journalistic integrity than these glorified gossip columnists.
In older days people had to physically report viewership down in a survey book (thus what plays at an airport/doctor office would not be counted). I am not sure if these new streaming devices actually record everything being watched now days. I know my Roku keeps up with what shows are being watched because they rank them for others to see what is "hot".
I suspect CNN gets money from those airports.
CNN pays to be there.https://yourmileagemayvary.net/2020/08/02/whats-up-with-cnn-being-the-channel-on-tv-screens-at-so-many-u-s-airports/#:~:text=Headquartered%20in%20Atlanta%2C%20CNN%20Airport,it%20also%20airs%20additional%20topics.- - - - - -Update: This should have already ended.CNN Airport Network endinghttps://onemileatatime.com/cnn-airport-network/CNN Airport Network will end operations on March 31, 2021. This curated network was around for almost 30 years, and is coming to an end for two reasons:- The coronavirus pandemic has greatly decreased the number of people in airports- People are consuming media differently than before, in particular due to how popular personal devices have become
I mean can Zucker drive it any lower?
He seem to be doing a great job of running it into the ground. His on-air no talent hacks see to have carte blanche are steering it over the cliff.
AT&T does not care if CNN makes money. They care only about maintaining them as a PR shill in support of the ruling oligarchy.
Huh, that's strange because there have been numerous stories - not long ago in fact - about them shopping it around i.e. trying to unload it. Here are some examples:https://www.foxnews.com/media/cnn-att-trump-ratings-buy-debt-charlie-gasparinohttps://fairshake.com/newswire/att/2021/02/10/13-most-likely-buyers-of-cnn-if-att-has-to-sell-it/https://www.lifezette.com/2020/11/att-reportedly-wants-to-get-rid-of-cnn-as-fears-grow-network-may-have-hit-ratings-peak-hating-trump/https://bleedingfool.com/news/att-fire-sale-cnn-for-sale-the-potential-implosion-of-dc-comics/https://bongino.com/att-reportedly-looking-to-sell-cnn
CNN was certainly instrumental in removing the hated Orange Man and putting a malleable statist back in charge, of which I suspect big corporations like AT&T heartily approved.Maybe they figured 'mission accomplished' and now want to get back to profitable investments. My opinion only.
Bye-bye Trump, bye-bye CNNhttps://www.americanthinker.com/blog/2021/05/byebye_trump_byebye_cnn.html
