Bongino Blasts Into Limbaugh’s Old Radio Slot With a Guaranteed Blockbuster First Guest

The vast majority of the late Rush Limbaugh’s fans are under no illusions that anyone in the talk radio business now or at any time in the near future can replace his combo of political insight, wit, humor, and analysis.
The reality is, no one in the conservative talk radio industry is going to try to replace Rush. They know better than anyone that it simply can’t be done: How do you replace a human being so good at what he did he literally is irreplaceable?
Nevertheless, there is a talk show host who will be moving into Limbaugh’s old time slot, 12 noon-3 p.m. Monday through Friday, and frankly, the guy who was picked — former NYPD officer and Secret Service agent Dan Bongino — was an incredible choice.
To state the obvious, Bongino isn’t Limbaugh, but he’s not trying to be, either. Bongino is Bongino, and he certainly is as unique as he is talented. He is politically savvy, can hold his own when it comes to left-wing detractors, and knows his subjects cold. And in one way, he is like Limbaugh: A consummate professional.
That said, Bongino will be moving into Limbaugh’s old slot on Monday, and his first guest is sure to draw a lot of audience, per The Western Journal:
Conservative commentator Dan Bongino will be joined by former President Donald Trump on Monday during Bongino’s first national radio broadcast, as he attempts to help fill the void left behind by late radio icon Rush Limbaugh.
Limbaugh, who passed away from lung cancer in February, of course, can never be replaced.
But in the absence of his booming voice and towering intellect, many conservatives seeking some semblance of normality on the radio while they drive or work are in need of a boost.
Limbaugh’s old time slot, Monday through Friday from 12 p.m. to 3 p.m. ET, will become Bongino’s beginning on May 24.
