The condition, known as myocarditis, results in an inflammation of the heart muscle which can occur following certain infections.

Very little detail was provided by the safety group which stated there were 'relatively few' cases which may even be completely unrelated to vaccination.

The Centers for Disease Control (CDC) is grappling with another public relations challenge after the disclosure that heart inflammation, known as myocarditis, has hit some teens and young people after Covid-19 vaccination.

The news of potential heart-related concerns with the Pfizer and Moderna RNA vaccines comes on the heels of blood clot worries linked to the single-dose Johnson and Johnson vaccine.

At a May 17 meeting of CDC's Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices, there were "several presentations" about myocarditis following RNA vaccines. Myocarditis can weaken the heart and cause formation of deadly blood clots. The report on CDC's website doesn't say how many cases have been reported, and characterized them as "mild" and "relatively few."

But concern was apparently expressed at the meeting by representatives from the Department of Defense, the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System, Vaccine Safety Datalink, the Veteran’s Administration, and the Clinical Immunization Safety Assessment; all off whom gave presentations or updates at the meeting.

According to CDC, the reports of heart inflammation occurred:

• predominantly in adolescents and young adults,
• more often in males than females,
• more often following dose 2 than dose 1, and
• typically within 4 days after vaccination

Roles of Host Immunity in Viral Myocarditis and Dilated Cardiomyopathy

The pathogenesis of viral myocarditis includes both the direct damage mediated by viral infection and the indirect lesion resulted from host immune responses. Myocarditis can progress into dilated cardiomyopathy that is also associated with immunopathogenesis. T cell-mediated autoimmunity, antibody-mediated autoimmunity (autoantibodies), and innate immunity, working together, contribute to the development of myocarditis and dilated cardiomyopathy.

There were questions early on about the blood clots in the lungs being the result of a cytokine reaction, and that raises the question of whether there is an associated syndrome or reaction to the jabs which cause an overactive and damaging immune response in the heart. This paper is dated 2018, and the research was conducted in China.

I would like to find a comparison in the rate of myocarditis with the general population versus those getting the vaccine.

The curious thing about the association with the tetanus vaccine is that it targets the toxin of a bacteria rather than a virus.

Media reports about such things seldom give the context of the general population occurrences, making it impossible to discern "signal" from "background noise". And, of course, the Panic Porn mongers of the MSM have Covid vaccines under a metaphoric electron microscope they've never used on any other event.

A far more likely scenario (by several magnitudes) is to show mild symptoms, recover, and gain natural immunity for life.  So the question to ask here is this:

Does a healthy teenager with no co-morbidity conditions run a greater risk of negative vaccine effects than they would from not getting the vaccine?

This is the golden question that medical professionals have always asked in the past.  At least up until now.

I am not sure who you mean by "minimizers", Pete, but I think medical decisions should be between a patient and their doctor, with treatment decisions based on informed consent. It's tough with the MSM all over any topic to know what thee truth is, especially one so heavily politicized as COVID, but the decision to vaccinate or not should be up to the patient (and parents in the case of minors), and not influenced by everything from Government edicts to free ice cream.

This raises a question in my mind, if this condition (mycocarditis) is limited to young adults and teens who get the vaccine or is it perhaps common in adults who already have heart disease and the moralities are listed as heart attacks? 

Certainly the CDC and the WHO are keeping things quiet.

Another reason I won't get the vaccine.  Chronic side effects keep emerging.

I think that there is a definite possibility that over the long term  people may experience serious side effects from the vaccine that are perhaps worse then if they would have actually contracted the virus.

Which is one of the primary reasons I have said "No." to the vaccine. Especially when I have Ivermectin and zinc supplements on hand should I have any symptoms, and I'm not in the least afraid to use those instead. (No comorbidities). I will rely on (self) treatment if the need arises.
