Ted Cruz Says Schumer Won’t Discuss Israel/Palestine Because He Fears AOC Primary Challenge

Texas GOP Sen. Ted Cruz said Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer is afraid to discuss the Israel and Palestine conflict because he fears Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez will primary him in two years.
While speaking to reporters on Thursday evening, Cruz challenged moderate Senate Democrats to stand up to the radicals like AOC in the Democratic Party who are siding with Hamas terrorists and Palestine.
Cruz spoke about Hamas’ deliberate tactic of firing rockets at Israeli civilians while operating from among Palestinian civilians – of “locating military assets where innocent Palestinian civilians are likely to be the inadvertent targets of any act to strike back against the terrorists.”
“They use human shields, and what do the Democrats do? The Democrats act as their press agents,” Cruz charged. “It is Hamas that is killing these human shields – and the Democrats and the press are happily parroting that propaganda language.”
