Small Drones for SOF. Israeli company Xtend has a contract to deliver some small unmanned aerial systems for use in urban environments and indoors to US special operations units. The Xtender can be used for close quarters battle (CQB), counter drone (C-UAS), and subterranean operations. “Pentagon orders small Israeli drones for indoor special operations”, Defense News, May 10, 2021.

AFSOC Honors Personnel. The top performers throughout the Air Force Special Operations Command were recognized during the “Outstanding Airmen of the Year” and Annual Award Winners Banquet on May 13, 2021. “AFSOC Honors 2020 Outstanding Airmen”, DVIDS, May 14, 2021.

AFSOC, Munitions Delivery, and Experimentation.
