Glenna Dickinson was diagnosed with COVID-19 on Jan. 7. Five days later, she was admitted to Rochester General Hospital when her condition worsened.

Running out of options, Dickinson's family asked ICU staff to prescribe Ivermectin, an anti-parasitic treatment that's shown some promise in treating coronavirus.

But the family's attorney says the hospital refused.
Refusing to give up, Dickinson's daughter brought the idea to her mother's primary care physician.

But, Minear says, the hospital still pushed back. On Thursday, an Orleans County judge ordered Rochester General to follow the recommendations of Dickinson's primary care doctor and administer the drug. And within hours of her first dose, Minear says Dickinson's oxygen level began to improve.

"She’s had three full dosages at this point and she showed good results, such good results that the hospital is now prepping to wake her up from the medically-induced coma," Minear said.

It's puzzling that any doctor or hospital would be opposed to trying every option to save a person's life.

An update on the benefits of Ivermectin and the reluctance of some hospitals to use it:

https://www.thedesertreview.com/opinion/letters_to_editor/ivermectin-wins-in-court-again-for-human-rights/article_98d26958-a13a-11eb-a698-37c06f632875.html

Quote
One dose of Ivermectin was all it took to get 81-year-old John Swanson off the ventilator. John’s wife Sandra could not believe it. His story is remarkably similar to other cases of patients who were on their way out with advanced COVID-19 but saved when Ivermectin was added.

Ralph Lorigo is the lawyer who now has won three court orders forcing New York hospitals to administer Ivermectin to dying patients. Incredibly, these three hospitals and their lawyers fought against the patients, arguing they did not have the right to receive the drug despite a valid prescription written by their doctors. In essence, the argument was that they did not have the right to try a potentially life-saving medication.

Plenty of Ivermectin at your local feed store.

Ivermectin is a key factor in the alliance’s I-MASK+ protocol for prophylaxis and early treatment of outpatients with COVID-19. In the protocol, those at high risk for COVID-19 infection receive ivermectin at 0.2 mg/kg on day 1 and day 3, and weekly for 4 weeks;

Those who were exposed to COVID-19 receive the same dose at day 1 and day 3; and both groups receive daily doses of vitamin D3, vitamin C, quercetin, zinc and melatonin.

For early outpatients with COVID-19, the protocol calls for one dose of ivermectin at 0.2 mg/kg at day 1 and day 3, along with the same daily vitamins and 325 mg per day of aspirin.

Funny how drugs that have been around for years and years, effectively treating various illnesses, suddenly are "controversial."

I have told all my doctors that I do not want to take the vaccine and explained the reason.  (Primary, Cardiologist, etc.)  None of them offered any other suggestions.  It wasn't until April 21st when had my yearly visit with my Nephrology Specialist did he listen and offer an alternative.  He had both his parents on a regimen of Ivermectin and vitamins and at least 100 of his patients.  I had been "out and about" taking care of myself and my 95 year old dad since the onset of the virus without becoming infected.  He asked if my blood was Type 0.  It is not.  He suggested the regimen to me and I accepted.  There have been no side effects from the medication, which dosage is prescribed based on weight. After the first two days , I now take the medicine once a week.  More information type flccc.net   Cost=$4.00 per month.

And Trump didn't even say it looked like a promising treatment. Weird.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

  • I was a "conspiracy theorist". Now I'm just right.
And Trump didn't even say it looked like a promising treatment. Weird.
At the time, Ivermectin hadn't been used or noted, just hydroxychloroquine/azithromycin/and zinc, as reported by a doctor (Zelenko) from New York. But once Trump mentioned HCQ, the jihad against it was on, including social media censorship of the regimen. HAd Trump mentioned Ivermectin Quercetin, or other ionophores for zinc, it's likely they would have been attacked as well.

No one set to make a grundle wants a cheap effective treatment for a disease you can suck up trillions of dollars over, especially because it eliminates the Panic.

Seventeen Techniques for Truth Suppression

Of all tyrannies, a tyranny sincerely exercised for the good of its victims may be the most oppressive. It would be better to live under robber barons than under omnipotent moral busybodies. The robber baron's cruelty may sometimes sleep, his cupidity may at some point be satiated; but those who torment us for our own good will torment us without end for they do so with the approval of their own conscience.
