Former Pentagon chief to say he feared Kent State repeat on Jan. 6
By Joseph Choi - 05/11/21 04:18 PM EDT

Former acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller is planning to tell Congress on Wednesday that he was concerned sending troops to the Capitol building on Jan. 6 would invoke fears of a military coup and could result in a deadly incident like the Kent State shooting, according to a copy of his prepared remarks obtained by The Associated Press.

According to the AP, Miller plans to defend the Pentagon's actions on Jan. 6 during which a violent mob of former President Trump's supporters breached Capitol security, ransacked lawmakers' offices and attacked Capitol police officers, among other things.

The news of Miller's prepared remarks come as the Pentagon has been criticized for its response on the day of the breach as being too slow.

In his remarks to the House Oversight Committee, he will argue that the Department of Defense (DoD) has “an extremely poor record in supporting domestic law enforcement."

“And some 51 years ago, on May 4, 1970, Ohio National Guard troops fired at demonstrators at Kent State University and killed four American civilians,” Miller's prepared remarks read, according to the AP. “I was committed to avoiding repeating these scenarios.”

The SHill

Trying to cover for Pelosi having declined Trump's recommendation to have Guard personnel assisting with security.
If, as anti-Covid-vaxxers claim, https://www.poynter.org/fact-checking/2021/robert-f-kennedy-jr-said-the-covid-19-vaccine-is-the-deadliest-vaccine-ever-made-thats-not-true/ , https://gospelnewsnetwork.org/2021/11/23/covid-shots-are-the-deadliest-vaccines-in-medical-history/ , The Vaccine is deadly, where in the US have Pfizer and Moderna hidden the millions of bodies of those who died of "vaccine injury"? Is reality a Big Pharma Shill?

Millions now living should have died. Anti-Covid-Vaxxer ghouls hardest hit.

Y'all are reading the wrong part.

He should have left those so inclined to sit in puddles of their own (excreted) fluids... before establishing the security cordon.

At least it would have stopped the ANTIFAs from getting the photo op the Left so desperately wanted, and likely Ashli Babbit would be alive today.

Kent State...

...wasn't that where the Marxists staged a permanent riot, refusing to let it go until some of their totally useless idiots got themselves shot, as if we were supposed to care about drones and mere breeders?  It's not like the corpses were people at any time in their breathing existence.

Or is he implying that he knows the hooligan actions were provoked by Rodent agent-provocateurs to write a Narrative, which is what it so obviously was?

It was a Rodent effort to create some handy Horst Wessel figurines.

Made that jackass Neil Young richer, and because of Neil Young, Lynyrd Skynyrd wrote a kick-ass tune, which as the only useful thing to come out of that show.
