Biden admin plans to house hundreds of unaccompanied migrant children in shuttered NC school

A North Carolina sheriff is alarmed that the Biden administration is considering housing hundreds of unaccompanied migrant children at a shuttered private school in Greensboro and says it could increase crime there.

The Democratic Mayor of Greensboro, Nancy Vaughan, is reportedly open to the idea of welcoming unaccompanied minors from the border because she believes it would create jobs. Alamance County Sheriff Terry Johnson has not spoken to the mayor about the development but he is very concerned because he considers it a national security issue. He told Fox News that he’s “not totally happy with it.”

Johnson stated Monday that they “have a major problem here with the criminal element that crosses the border,” adding that he would like to see migrants properly vetted before allowing them into their community. He also said: “I feel like we have an open-door policy right now at the border and to me, this should not be a political issue, it’s a Homeland Security issue.”

Uhhhh,how about SOMEONE consider what is best for the children????????

It is,IMNSHO,inhumane to lock them away in a foreign country where they don't speak the language or understand the culture,and are also separated from their families.

Too many people are using those innocent children as pawns in their power plays,and it seems like no one gives a damn about what is best for the children.

The HUMANE thing to do would be to ship them back to Mexico and let the Mexican government look for relatives to place them with.

Or does that make too much sense?
