CLEWISTON, Fla. – A woman was fatally shot and at least three others were injured at the Brown Sugar Festival in Clewiston Saturday night, according to the Hendry County Sheriff’s Office.
 

Around 9:30pm, 911 began receiving multiple calls reporting a shooting in the Harlem Community of the city.

Hendry County Investigators say that Deputies were in the area of Harlem Academy and 12th Street when they heard gunshots. The deputies immediately responded and found the victim, later identified as 20-year old Evereonna Sankey, a licensed certified nursing assistant from Lee County.

Well since it was an annual event for the Black community I would think that Whitey or a Hispanic would stick out like a sore thumb even in a crowd of 3000 and you would hear it big time on social media if it was a non Black.
Also maybe I am reading too much into the Reverends comments, but...........

I probably construe her comment, "We’ve got to stop killing each other. We got to stop it." the way you do, @GtHawk. Blacktivist race-baiters have undeserved credibility, but I think many blacks understand what ethnicity murders the most blacks.

As you pointed out, a white or Hispanic or Asian would be very noticeable in a mostly black crowd and if a white or etc. were the shooter there would be scores of attendees able and very willing to give a very decent description of the person.

Teresa Sankey is Evereonna’s mother. “My daughter was a good person, a productive citizen. Her goal was to save lives, and now, her life has been taken by a gun because they don’t want to regulate it, and I lost my baby, and she didn’t deserve this at all.”

Now, the family has been left with questions about who killed Evereonna and why there wasn’t more security at the festival.

“Every year I’ve ever went, there were police everywhere. This time I’ve seen two police cars. Two police cars,” Teresa said.

She knows that was not enough to keep her daughter and everyone else safe.

Hendry County Sheriff’s Office it normally has up to 6 months to plan for the Brown Sugar Festival and request help from neighboring departments to meet security needs. HCSO says, this year, it received last-minute notice. The sheriff’s office warned the Hendry County Board of County Commissioners in an April meeting that it might be ill prepared on such short notice to protect residents. A spokeswoman for the commissioners says the board approved the event despite those concerns because they thought the event would be smaller than past years.

Not always. It took the cops about two days to reveal the name of the shooter at Oneida gambling casino near Green Bay. His name is Bruce Pofahl, and he's white. They only posted his photo today.
But I have seen a local case where the cops clamped down on the identify of a murderer for a week. After a week they finally identified him. He was black.

I can't muster up much sympathy for a demographic that refuses to blame the people slaughtering their group when it's pretty obvious who is doing the killing.

Well they certainly manage to take plenty of video if it's a White or White Hispanic cop shooting.
