Study: Young White Liberals More Likely to Have Mental Health Problems

Evie magazine unpacked analysis of a Pew Research Center survey published last year, and subsequently arrived at the compelling possibility that science is telling us left-wing ideology and mental illness are correlated.

Andrew Stiles at the Washington Free Beacon drew attention Monday to the Evie magazine piece, published last week, showing the March 2020 Pew Research data revealed white liberals are more likely than other ideological/racial groups to have been diagnosed with a mental health disorder.

With a focus on younger women’s health and relationship issues, Evie’s Elizabeth Condra noted that over 50 percent of white, liberal women under 30 have been diagnosed with a mental health condition at some point.

“Are we worried yet?” she asked, weighing that while conservatives may label left-wingers as “snowflakes” or having been afflicted with “Trump derangement syndrome,” and the left identifies those on the right as “racists, bigots, misogynists, etc.,” the Pew Research data is something to consider seriously.

Many young or not so young liberals learn things in school that they believe are immutable truths.
When someone challenges them on their beliefs, their psyche can't handle being questioned. They must immediately respond by getting hot under the collar and call their questioner names instead of replying with a calm, reasoned answer.

Actually, no.  Since the co-opting of the Civil Rights movement by Jesse Jackson and his ilk in the wake of the assassination of MLK, it has been easy for sane black folk to get swept along by a herd mentality and end up on the Left without thinking.  (Kind of the way country folk end up on the Right even without putting any thought into it.)  Similar phenomenon among people in the north of England -- until the last general election when Brexit trumped old voting patterns, there were people who voted Labour because they always voted Labour just like their parents and grandparents. 

The correlation between madness and Leftism in America really is strongest among white folk.

I do not have a psych degree, and it does not take a genius to know that liberalism is a mental disorder or illness.  And it is not limited to just Democrats, because I come from a community where the Republicans were the liberals and the Democrats were conservative.  No joke!!!

I was on a school board of nine, and I was one of two Dems at the time, and I was the most conservative of the bunch.  The Republicans wanted to spend us blind, and their liberalism that was the catalyst for me to run for office.

But nationally, today, liberals are destroying parts of America with no end in sight.  This is not good.
