"The jurors decided the verdict when they realized what the town they lived in, the town where the riots have been going on since last summer, would go through if they gave any other. In other words, the verdict was established before the jurors were sworn in."
A while back, I put up a post here (the only one to express such opinion) that since it looked like Chauvin was going to be railroaded to a guilty verdict, his "best option" would have been to secure a new identity, then slip out of the USA to a country that doesn't have an extradition treaty here.
And live out whatever life he could.
I'm going to say something now and everyone here's gonna be upset:
The best thing for Chauvin to do in prison will be to align himself with the Aryan Brotherhood there for his own protection (if they'll have him). That offers his best chance for survival behind the bars...
