Trump to Hannity: GOP must run on 'MAGA' agenda if they want to retake Congress in 2022

In an exclusive, hour-long interview with Fox News, former President Donald J. Trump will tell "Hannity" that the future of the Republican Party hinges on whether it can coalesce behind the "Make America Great" platform that brought new voters into the "big tent" in both 2016 and 2020.

Trump told host Sean Hannity that there are aspects of the 2020 presidential election that show marked improvement for the GOP, outside of their typical precincts.

As the GOP continues further into being a working-class political party, Trump pointed to what he called a surprising detail in Texas, which on a macro level is already a red state.

Hannity asked Trump if the best path to victory is indeed through candidates running on the conservative platform he touted in 2016 that differentiated him from more establishment Republicans like ex-Florida Gov. Jeb Bush or ex-Ohio Gov. John Kasich.

"Should this now be the Republican Party agenda? Should anybody that wants to run for the House or the Senate -- should they take this "Make America Great" agenda and fight for those things that you fought for the four years you were president?" the host asked.

"If they want to win, yes," the now-Florida resident responded..........

I Believe in the United States of America as a Government of the people, by the people, for the people; whose just powers are derived from the consent of the governed; a democracy in a republic; a sovereign nation of many sovereign states; a perfect union one and inseparable; established upon those principles of freedom, equality, justice and humanity for which American patriots sacrificed their lives and fortunes.  I therefore believe it is my duty to my country to love it; to support its Constitution; to obey its laws to respect its flag; and to defend it against all enemies.

Trump is 100% right on target, as usual.

We need honest voting, it’s the only voice we have for most of us.
I don’t think anyone here doubts that cheating got Biden into office.
I believe we will give it another go during the midterms. Many Trump supporters are not disillusioned or disheartened. Not yet anyway.

If the left succeeds in creating false elections where your vote means nothing then indeed America, it’s values and it’s very basis of liberty and freedom, the US Constitution, will fade from memory as future generations succumb to one-party rule.

MAGA is the only hope we have as far as I can see to save America.

That being said, I think realistically it needs to be DeSantis in 2024.   Of course being younger is a big factor.  But the biggest of all is that as a Governor,  DeSantis has a good team put together of people he knows and trusts, and could come with him to Washington.    Trump simply cannot do this.   It's what torpedoed his Presidency,  people who didn't have his best interests in mind.

Doesn’t matter who gets in office as long as he/she attempts to install conservative policies. Don’t kid yourself. Nobody is immune from left wing political terrorism. The question then becomes can
DeSantis hold up under the attacks from the left. Does he have the stamina under a constant barrage of insult, lies and the evils cast at him?

We'll certainly find out in 2022.   The Rats are going to throw everything at him.

Trump is battle-hardened. Knows what would be coming. Can anyone else stand against such a force intended for their total, complete destruction and still get things done to protect the freedoms we expect today? In many respects spreading The Word is under assault, our liberties as Christians at the crossroads. Don’t be fooled with Satan’s lies that all will be ok as we sometimes take for granted.
