Initially, it looked like Justin Rose was the man to beat, but he could not maintain his high level of play for the four days. Hideki played steady golf, and his bad holes managed to be a little "less bad" than the other guys'. What bugged me the whole time was the announcing crew. You could tell they were rooting for anyone but Hideki right up to the very last hole, especially after all their favorites - Dustin Johnson, Justin Thomas, Bryson DeChambeau - spit the bit. (They also saw fit to mention Tiger Woods about 50 times an hour, which was tiresome).
Pro golf - men's and women's - is one of the few professional sports left that hasn't sold its soul completely to leftist woke culture, so I'm happy to spend a little time watching it.
