March 27, 2021 | Terresa Monroe-HamiltonVice President Harris appeared to backpedal on Friday in regards to her assignment from President Biden to handle the border crisis when a top aide claimed that she will not be “doing the border.â€
“The Vice President is not doing the border,†the aide bluntly told reporters. “The president asked the vice president to take on the diplomatic efforts with Mexico and …the Northern Triangle to address the root causes of migration.â€
Harris will fill an ostensibly diplomatic role that will focus on the exploding number of illegal aliens coming across the U.S. border from the Northern Triangle. That would include El Salvador, Guatemala, and Honduras as $7 billion is allegedly earmarked for these countries to help handle the border crisis.
“There are many reasons that move these folks to make this dangerous journey,†senior advisor Symone Sanders stated, repeating virtually the same talking points presented by Biden in his first presser on Thursday. “This is not work that will be addressed overnight.â€
