Lt. Col. Vindman unveils plan to silence 'right-wing' media

Contends he was target of 'comprehensive defamation campaign' by news outlets

Retired Lt. Col. Alexander Vindman, the career government employee who testified against President Trump during the Democrats' first impeachment of the president, says "right-wing" media outlets should be sued to curb their influence.

Vindman, who was removed from his position on the National Security Council and escorted off White House grounds after Trump's acquittal a year ago, wrote in a commentary for the Lawfare blog that right-wing media have become radicalized.


He charged they "fueled" the "Big Lie of 'stolen elections' and 'evil Democrats'" to rouse people to "insurrection."

"The mob that attacked the Capitol was born of hatred fomented by the right-wing media. These insurrectionists were raised for years on a steady diet of disinformation and half-truths, which produced the fertile fields for radicalization," Vindman wrote.

Hmmph.

The more they argue that they didn't steal the election, the more the normal people realize they did.

Trump should have fired this clown and not allowed him to retire.

Sumthin' tells me that this Vindman guy doesn't represent an "outlier" in today's officer corps.

Rather, he exemplifies "the new breed" of young lions on their way up the ladder...

That was one of the biggest disappointments with Trump, one of his biggest weaknesses, and one of his biggest failings.
For a guy who was billed as the, "You're Fired!" President, Trump actually refused to fire so many people who deserved it, even after they stabbed him in the back and spit in his face. The first one to come to my mind is 'Fauci'. He should have been fired after that first press conference when he was laughing and smirking behind Trump's back. On several occasions McConnell & various other GOPe leaders had threatened Trump with some sort of punitive action should he fire whomever the back stabber was at the time. Fauci, Sessions and Mueller come to mind.

I wonder if he considered that the sue game could be played by others too, and probably more successfully since it is repeatedly proven that the gutter media has lied and slandered conservatives.
