    An affluent New York prep school reportedly told students to call Newton’s Laws of Motion the “three fundamental laws of physics” in attempts to “decenter whiteness.”

    “We don’t call them Newton’s laws anymore,” a student told writer Bari Weiss. “We call them the three fundamental laws of physics. They say we need to ‘decenter whiteness,’ and we need to acknowledge that there’s more than just Newton in physics.”

    Another student told Weiss that he struggles to avoid “identity classes” and take “the fact classes” at Fieldston.

What is the new name for 'Newtonian fluid'?  'Planck's constant'?  'Reynolds number'?  'Bozeman constant'?  'Euclidian geometry'?  'Euler's formula'?  'Hooke's law'?  'Beer's law'?  The 'Bernouli equation'?  etc.

Well, the article called Planck's Constant the "quantum uncertainty constant" or something like that.

Bernoulli's Equation would be the "constant mass flow incompressible fluid equation".

Hooke's law would be the elastic spring constant.

Reynold's Number could be the turbulent boundary transition number...bear with me, my courses in fluid flow are thirty years behind me and I've done structures almost exclusively.

Euclidian geometry is simple plane geometry.

Beer's Law is drink more.
