After Delay Under Trump, Two Female Generals Nominated to Run Combatant Commands

President Biden has nominated two leading female generals, whose promotions were reportedly held up under the Trump administration because they are women, to run two of the military's most vital combatant commands.

Air Force Gen. Jacqueline Van Ovost has been nominated to head U.S. Transportation Command, and Army Lt. Gen. Laura Richardson to head U.S. Southern command and to receive her fourth star, the Pentagon announced Saturday.

Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin also announced that Biden had nominated Navy Adm. John Aquilino to head U.S. Indo-Pacific Command. Navy Vice Adm. Samuel Paparo has also been nominated to command U.S. Pacific Fleet at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, and to receive his fourth star.

Note none of this says Trump was the one responsible for the delay but editorializing news rules, the author certainly implies it.  Maybe it was someone who didn't want Trump to get credit for the promotion and delayed the promotions until Hidin' Biden became POTUS.  Maybe that way he'll get an opportunity to grope them both.

The other two are only technically combat  ,but this one is different. I want to know who she was blowing while videotaping it.

This type of crap will end up getting people killed as someone who has barely even fired a shot at a rifle range,never mind been in actual combat is given a combat command. She will risk her troops in order to get awards for herself. Count on it.

I know nothing about who any of those women are or the positions they hold,but a Defense Minister does NOT formulate battle plans and send troops into combat
