Judge Rules Arizona Senate Can Access 2.1 Million 2020 Election Ballots and Equipment

A judge ruled Friday that the Arizona Senate may access 2.1 million ballots and election equipment from the state’s most populous county to audit results from the 2020 election.

“Maricopa County Superior Court Judge Timothy Thomason’s decision comes after a protracted battled between the Republican-controlled state Senate and the GOP-dominated Maricopa County board over subpoenas issued by the Senate,” the Associated Press (AP) reported.

The Board of Supervisors argued the ballots were secret, the Legislature “had no right to access them,” and the subpoenas Senate President Karen Fann issued were “for an illegitimate purpose.”

“The Senate’s lawyers contended that the constitution gives the Legislature the role of maintaining the purity of elections and make sure voter integrity is protected, that the subpoenas were legal and a proper use of legislative power,” the article said.

Judge Thomason agreed with the Senate and called the subpoenas “legal and enforceable” in his ruling.

“There is no question that the Senators have the power to issue legislative subpoenas,” the judge wrote. “The Subpoenas comply with the statutory requirements for legislative subpoenas. The Senate also has broad constitutional power to oversee elections.”

The leftist/communists will fight this to the AZ Supreme Court.

And if they lose there, the records (as predicted by PeteS) may simply "disappear"...

Piles of shredded ballots were located today in a dumpster in Maricopa County Arizona.  This find occurs only days before the Senate’s audit of the county’s 2020 election results is due to start.
For months the Board of Supervisors in Maricopa County have blocked and delayed any independent audit performed by the Arizona Senate of the County’s results in the 2020 Presidential election.  As we’ve reported previously, after being subpoenaed by the Arizona Senate and then suing the Senate to prevent a Senate audit of their 2020 election results, the Maricopa County Board of Supervisors (MCBOS) agreed to have an audit if they could pick the auditors. The two firms they picked they claimed were the only two who were certified by the governmental body the US Election Assistance Commission (EAC). However, we found that these firms were not certified at the time they were selected by the MCBOS:

The MCBOS went ahead and hired the firms they wanted to perform their audit but the audits were never structured to find any suspected fraud in the county. The validity of the 2 million ballots in the county was never even considered in the programs reportedly used by these audit firms:

IF true - IMO, Gateway Pundit's credibility is middling - this was a crime. Destroying evidence under subpoena is a crime, and the destruction may be construed by the judge as confirming what the plaintiff alleged the destroyed evidence proved. IF true.

The Rats have pulled off Spoliation of Evidence rackets may times, so I don't see why they should think this is any difference.  And you are correct about the inferences that can be drawn when it happens.
