Affidavit: Trucker drove off from Laredo checkpoint with 117 immigrants in trailer

U.S. Border Patrol agents said they discovered these 117 individuals in the back of a refrigerated trailer. All were determined to be immigrants who were in the country illegally.
A trucker drove off from the Interstate 35 checkpoint with a trailer loaded with 117 immigrants who had crossed the border illegally, according to an arrest affidavit.
Jonathan Kyle Price was arrested and charged with transport, attempt to transport and conspire to transport the immigrants.
A white tractor hauling a white refrigerated trailer arrived at about 8:55 p.m. on Feb. 19 at the U.S. Border Patrol on Interstate 35. Agents identified the driver as Price during an immigration inspection. He allegedly stated he was hauling “produce.†A K-9 then allegedly alerted to possible narcotics or people within the trailer.
