White House press secretary Jen Psaki told reporters Wednesday that President Joe Biden would support a study on whether descendants of slavery in the United States should receive reparations.

It's not reparations unless it comes from the people who actually committed the atrocity and goes to the people who actually suffered the indignity of slavery. Otherwise, it's just another in a long line of gubmint handouts.

No American slave owners are alive today, nor are their slaves. Give it a rest.

I am in favor of reparations in accordance to the agreement carved out when the War of Secession ended.  It was the Democrat Party that reneged on that agreement, and thus they alone should be held liable.
