President Biden was slammed by conservatives on social media after saying, “We didn’t have a vaccine,” when he came into office on Jan. 20.

“It’s one thing to have the vaccine,” Biden told CNN’s Anderson Cooper during a town hall event on Tuesday night. “Which we didn’t have when we came into office. But a vaccinator, how do you get the vaccine into someone’s arm.”

Conservatives, including former White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany, quickly took issue with Biden’s comment.

“Biden says there was no vaccine when he came into office,” McEnany tweeted. “That is abjectly FALSE. President Trump brought about the fastest vaccine for a novel pathogen in history. How does Joe get away with this?”

President Biden is dismissing the genocide against the Uighur population in China, dubbing the mass internment a “different norm” — despite the State Department this month responding to “atrocities” in the camps, following reports of systemic rape and torture.

The commander in chief made the remarks after being asked during his CNN town hall Tuesday evening about his recent conversation with his Chinese counterpart, starting his response by relaying Xi’s justification for the abuses.

“If you know anything about Chinese history, it has always been, the time when China has been victimized by the outer world is when they haven’t been unified at home,” Biden began, “So the central — well, vastly overstated — the central principle of Xi Jinping is that there must be a united, tightly-controlled China. And he uses his rationale for the things he does based on that.” ...

“Culturally there are different norms that each country and their leaders are expected to follow,” he continued.

The “norms” in China, as shown in a recent BBC News exposé, include systemic torture and rape occurring in Uighur concentration camps.  ...

Was this just a “verbal stumble,” or an outright lie to boost his own standing on COVID-19 vaccinations? Last night in CNN’s town hall meeting, Joe Biden told CNN’s Anderson Cooper that vaccines can only impact the pandemic if we have enough “vaccinators,” which is true enough. However, Biden then told Cooper that not only were there no vaccinators when he came into office, but there were no vaccines either.

That prompted the ire of former press secretary Kayleigh McEnany. Here’s the short clip, followed by the full exchange from the transcript:

The article doesn't speak to it, but I wonder if Anderson Cooper called out Biden's falsehood. Yeah, I doubt it, too.
