Nancy Pelosi Plans ‘Independent 9/11-Type Commission’ to Investigate Capitol Riot

House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) announced Monday that she will establish what she described as an “outside, independent 9/11-type Commission” to investigate last month’s deadly riot at the U.S. Capitol.

In her weekly letter to colleagues, Pelosi said the commission will “investigate and report on the facts and causes relating to the January 6, 2021, domestic terrorist attack upon the United States Capitol Complex … and relating to the interference with the peaceful transfer of power.”

An actually independent commission would read a transcript of Trump's speech, including the date it was given, and look at prosecutors' evidence against the indicted rioters showing they planned it long before Trump's speech, and conclude Trump incited nothing.

Pelosi establishes an 'Independent' investigation, since slick willy it is crystal clear, demorat 'independent' investigations  are white wash cover-ups! Now think real hard, what will be the conclusion?  It's was made even before Pelosi announced it.  'Independent' means all or mostly hardcore democrats witha few RINO's will decide the issues.  Democrats believe by totalitarianism, they can do no wrong.
