They Can't Quit Him: Democrats Have a New Plan for How to 'Get' Trump

It’s never going to stop, is it?

Today, Donald Trump was acquitted for a second time by the Senate after being impeached. This time, he was found not guilty of inciting the riot at the Capitol Building on January 6th. Though much hyperventilating has commenced, I believe the facts supported that decision. Trump simply didn’t meet the standard for incitement, even some low-bar political standard set forth by Congress. To have found differently would presuppose that rowdy, yet commonly used political speech (“fight like hell,” etc.) now qualifies as promoting violence. That’s not a standard I think anyone in Washington truly wants applied evenly.

Regardless, with Democrats and the anti-Trump right feeling embarrassed once again, they are proving they just can’t quit Trump. Now, they are fantasizing about taking him down via a criminal investigation.

The Democrats and their MSM slaves have become obsessed maniacs.
They are, in a medical sense, severely mentally unhinged.
Their obsession with Trump and anything related to Trump no matter how indirectly, is not normal in any sense of that word.
Based on their words and behavior, they could be certified by a professional to be mentally impaired.
They are certifiably mentally deranged people.

Dems Lost Impeachment Round Two, But They Have One More Dirty Trick Up Their Sleeves

Democrats suffered yet another stinging defeat when their latest scam impeachment trial ended with the acquittal of former President Donald J. Trump.

Just like last year, there wasn’t nearly enough Republican support in the Senate for the Nancy Pelosi’s latest witch hunt against the 45th President.

While Pelosi and her House impeachment managers did manage to smoke out seven RINO’s in the impeachment vote, the rushed effort to convict Trump hit a brick wall.

However, they’re not done yet.

Their next step is to try to disqualify Trump from running for the presidency in 2024 by using a post-Civil War provision in the 14th Amendment to sabotage democracy.

We are witnessing the country being transformed into a banana republic. One party losses power and immediately the former leader is prosecuted and sentenced to a jail term. This kind of tyranny inevitably leads to bloodshed. I would much rather see us figure out how to go our separate ways, enough is enough.

The Democrat establishment and their MSM slaves are not obsessed maniacs.  They owe virtually all of their success in recent years to the fact that they have turned a large portion of the country into Trump-deranged obsessed maniacs, and so long as that investment pays dividends they will continue to do everything possible to keep Trump in the news so they can keep beating that horse.

Don't misunderstand or mis-characterize them.
They're quite rational in their plan to make Mr. Trump "the eternal enemy".

For them, Donald Trump has become the new "Emmanuel Goldstein" against which they can rally "the collective hate of the nation", and channel it to their ends.

And so long as they can "keep the hate alive" (with a hat tip to Jesse Jackson), they can also direct it against white traditional-minded Americans as well.

Don't expect this "obsession" to be goin' away any time soon.

It makes much more sense when you consider Trump a symbol - someone who actually tried to follow through on promises the GOP has alleged itself to represent but has been welching on for decades.

As heavily invested in the government racket as the establishment is it sees average Americans as a mortal threat and a populist president is it's worst nightmare, one it must eliminate at all costs.

I'm on the side of trying to keep our Republic.  It's not a matter of holding on to Trump.

You've made the point in the past that due to age Trump may not run again. He will be 78 in 2024. I think you might be right. In the meantime he is the head of the MAGA movement. We need him at least until someone can step up and show he, or she, will not backdown when fighting DC. Let's pray some people emerge. I like the Trump family, but I'm not a big believer in legacies.

Not a high enough obstacle to prevent them.

All it takes is a simple majority vote in Congress for invoking the 14th Amendment.

Do you believe there will be enough Dems who vote not to convict him?

Honestly, I wouldn't care if they impeach/acquit him weekly, if it meant a distraction and prevention of the NGD, and other Biden Socialist inititatives.
