WHY are the Dems impeaching Trump?

Why are the Dems impeaching a "former" President?
Maybe we're overthinking this.
Maybe they're doing it just to pleasure themselves!

Here are some new lyrics about the subject.
They're to be sung to an existing tune,
that people who have been in some military circles might recognize:

They are doing it because it is a desperate act to try to make sure he can't run for President again in 2024. By then their "house will be falling down",and there is no way they can defend themselves against Trump's "I told you so!" charges.

They want  a docile little mouse like Mittens,that wouldn't dare to say the economic collapse is the Dims fault.
