The Circle Woman: Report Shows Biden Staff Prescreening Psaki Press Briefing Questions

Biden staffers have prescreened reporters ahead of Jen Psaki’s briefings to see what they plan to ask the White House press secretary, according to a report from the left-wing Daily Beast.

The outlet cited “three sources with knowledge of the matter” and “written communications” that revealed that the Biden administration has “already on occasion probed reporters to see what questions they plan on asking new White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki when called upon during briefings” less than two weeks into the new administration.

The report suggests that Psaki would have some idea of what reporters plan to ask prior to formally presenting their questions. Despite that, her “circle back” answers on tough questions have become a staple of her press briefings. It remains unclear which, if any, reporters cooperated with the administration’s inquiries. Leaders of the White House Correspondents Association (WHCA) have reportedly urged reporters not to accommodate the administration in that capacity:

“I often note I’m going to circle back. I hate to disappoint conservative Twitter but I’m going to circle back on a number of things as we often do directly,” she said on Monday following mounting critiques from social media users highlighting her seeming inability to directly answer questions on the spot:

If you watch her do her thing for any length of time you will note she is not the sharpest Ho in the white house shed. (That spot is already taken btw)  Now,  If she were to ever be grilled hard like say, Huckabee, or Kayleigh McEnany, she would fold like a cheap walmart lawn chair made in china.

Psaki's not suited a job like this at this high of a level.  Combine his missteps in just a few short days in the position with her dig at "conservatives on twitter" from yesterday and it shows that she doesn't have the discipline or the maturity to not act like a partisan activist.

This is the kind of juvenile behavior she should have left behind when she left CNN for her current position. Add in her seeming lack of preparedness to handle even the most basic straight question from a reporter during a presser with anything except snark or her trademark "circle back", and it's clear she has regressed in her ability to be a spokesperson at the executive level from her days of juvenile behavior and hashtag selfies with Marie Harf at the State Department.
