Portman won't run for reelection
By Reid Wilson - 01/25/21 10:38 AM EST

Sen. Rob Portman (R-Ohio) will not seek reelection to a third term in 2022, he announced Monday morning.

Portman plans to make the announcement at a press conference in Cincinnati. In a statement, Portman cited political partisanship as a factor in his decision.

“We live in an increasingly polarized country where members of both parties are being pushed further to the right and further to the left, and that means too few people who are actively looking to find common ground,” he said. “This is not a new phenomenon, of course, but a problem that has gotten worse over the past few decades.”

Agree, did we miss something where the congressman are going right. Getting out at the right time. Soon and before he goes you are going to see the politicians be attacked by the people . The people had about enough and going to start fighting back by any means necessary and attacking the politicians and their families. The politicians MUST fear the people and they DO NOT. When they do they will start working for the people and best for this Country or pay the consequences. Gone are the days of VOTING them out. The system is RIGGED and everyone know it and only thing is attacking the POLITICIANS and NOT each other. CANNOT rely on the politician who created the RIGGED VOTER FRAUD to fix it because it will not happen.  STAYED TUNED it going to start happening soon. 22chief

Like Flake, he's only leaving because he knows he has a snowball's chance of getting re-nominated.

And Ducey isn't running in AZ.  Republicans may actually lose seats in the midterms.
