Yes. Unfortunately, many people on this forum have no idea of the revulsion Trump created with his juvenile name-calling and character assassination. Average voters don't expect the POTUS to act like that.
The refusal/denial of many people to realize that fact might have actually contributed to Trump losing the election as he got very little kickback from the base about his childish words and actions.

Thank God in Heaven you are here to educate the stupid conservatives.  *****rollingeyes*****

Of course.  Other GOP candidates won, while Trump lost.   Yes,  I'd say these GOP candidates indeed "did better" than Trump.

Trump carried every single one of those flipped districts - all districts he was projected to lose.  So no, these candidates indeed did not do better than Trump in those races.

The fact that Trump may have received more votes means nothing.

In response to your repeated lie that voters abandoned Trump, the fact that Trump received more votes means everything.  At least now you made the mistake of acknowledging Trump received more votes.  Which will make your next denial even more of a lie.

The Dem/Trump conspiracy to make the election a referendum on Trump drew millions to the polls who had no interest in voting in the down ballot races.  Of these single issue voters,  far more wanted Trump gone than wanted him to stay.

In other words, your contention that Republicans abandoned Trump has been complete horseshit from the beginning.  Even your own county had more Trump votes this time around than in 2016.  But then you knew that already.
btw, there is a big difference between 'ballots' and 'voters'.
If a political party does not have its foundation in the determination to advance a cause that is right and that is moral, then it is not a political party; it is merely a conspiracy to seize power.

Here's one of those 2020 GOP success stories - Iowa, where the GOP picked up two seats from the Dems.

Representative vote totals:
-----------------------------
GOP - 859,418
Dem - 762,271

Presidential vote totals:
--------------------------
GOP - 879,672
Dem - 759,061

This indicates that not only did virtually all GOP down-ticket voters also vote for Trump, but a lot of Democrat down-ticket voters voted for Trump as well.   The big difference in Iowa of course is that there wasn't massive election law violations and voter fraud like we saw in Pennsylvania, Georgia, Michigan, etc.  This is representative of the overall election breakdown across the country in States where fraud didn't occur.

It’s delusional to the point of parody to claim impeachment now is what Trump wants.

"Delusional" would be a great new screen name for Jazzhead.
